PVX.AI can export a 3D view of your solar plant design in Google Earth format (KML). Share this file with clients or investors so they can view the project without needing AutoCAD.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to the Export section
Click Export on the PVX.AI ribbon and select 3D KML.
2. Confirm the coordinate system
When asked about the coordinate system, typically select ‘Yes’ for KML exports. Coordinate selection is especially important when working with drone or contour data.
3. Save and open in Google Earth
Save the KML file. Open it in Google Earth to view rack positions overlaid on satellite imagery.
