Overview
PVX.AI submits an energy yield site assessment to the cloud directly from AutoCAD and returns a full PDF report. This guide covers requesting the report and downloading the result.
Prerequisites
A design with a saved electrical configuration, because PVX.AI runs the PVsyst string sizing check before it submits. A valid license is required, and the analysis is a cloud job that uses credits.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the request window
Choose Export > Assessment (PDF) on the Export panel to open the Request Site Assessment window. It has two tabs: Request and Status & History.
2. Fill in the report details
Set the Report language and Report currency, then enter a Report title and Client. Both are required. Location, installed capacity, and other cover page details come from the drawing.
3. Add the optional sections
Tick Include financial analysis to add cost, revenue, financing, degradation, and schedule inputs. Tick Include BESS valuation to add a battery model, which fills in from the placed BESS units in the drawing.
4. Submit the request
Click Request Analysis. PVX.AI exports the design to PVsyst format in the background and submits it as a cloud job. Sizing errors block submission and list the issues, while warnings let you submit anyway or cancel.
5. Track the job and download the PDF
Open Status & History to follow the job. Use Refresh to update, Reuse to prefill the Request tab from a past job, and Download PDF when it completes.
Tips & Recommendations
- The report covers DC and AC power, monthly climate and energy data, specific production, performance ratio, capacity factor, loss diagrams, and AI generated commentary.
- Use Reuse to run a variant of an earlier assessment without retyping the inputs.
