Our biggest release yet. March brings custom per-rack orientation, a new East-West dome rack type, southern-hemisphere support, full English and Turkish localization, and a complete stringing and electrical toolset — from a configurable cabling panel to a live electrical overview.
New
Custom rack azimuth. Set the orientation of any rack independently for sites that don’t fit a single grid. Custom azimuths carry through everywhere they need to — fixed, tracker, and East-West systems, electrical routing, and PVsyst export.
East-West (dome) racks. A new rack type for East-West installations, with capacity iteration, 3D visualization, section drawings, and stringing support built in.
Southern hemisphere support. Rack placement, terrain calculations, and hemisphere detection now work correctly for projects south of the equator.
English and Turkish localization. All 27 windows and dialogs are fully localized in English and Turkish, with the groundwork in place for more languages.
3D scene objects. Place buildings, trees, and other structures on your site for accurate shading analysis and richer 3D context.
Contour line generation. Generate contour lines directly from your terrain — no external GIS tools required.
Stringing presets. Save and reuse stringing configurations with rack-type-aware auto-matching, including custom multi-frame patterns, string-area and frame modes, and polarity reversal.
Electrical overview panel. See your full electrical hierarchy — transformers, inverters, combiners, and strings — in a dedicated tree view, with substation-zone and string-level color coding.
Cabling configuration panel. Configure voltage-drop limits and cable separation, generate cables per transformer, and route them along trenches that persist with the drawing.
Cut/fill balance control. Set a fill damping factor to tune the balance between cut and fill volumes during grading optimization.
Improved
Smarter road and trench generation. Roads are now clipped to boundary polygons, and trench paths route DC cables cleanly along corridors.
More accurate PVsyst export. PVCollada export reconstructs terrain tilt correctly, producing more faithful PVsyst simulation inputs.
PV Area names in the Info Screen. Each area is labeled by name, so multi-area projects are easier to read.
Rack list overhaul. A new tracker plan view, an azimuth popup, and improved pile validation make managing racks clearer.
Fixed
- Pile spacing calculations and previews now stay consistent across rack types.
- Azimuth-related issues in 2D-to-3D conversion and terrain sampling resolved.
- Slope areas in the comparison tables are now accurate.
- Terrain queries corrected for non-standard rack azimuths.
- Section-drawing marker filtering fixed.
- File-locked exports and oversized KMZ files now fail gracefully with clear messages.
- Locked-layer errors during stringing mirroring resolved.
