Overview
PVX.AI generates an IEC 60617 single line diagram directly from a completed electrical design and draws it into the current drawing.
Prerequisites
A completed electrical design with transformers placed.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Start the generator
Click Generate SLD on the Electrical Design panel to open the Single Line Diagram dialog.
2. Choose how to draw it
Pick Aggregated to collapse identical inverters into one multiplied row, which keeps the diagram on a printable sheet. Pick Full Detail to draw every inverter individually for data verification, which produces a very large sheet.
3. Review the result
The diagram is drawn onto a dedicated PVXAI_SLD paper-space layout tab, with DC wires orange, AC wires green and MV wiring red. A title band summarizes the plant with its MW rating and its transformer, inverter and string counts.
4. Include battery storage
When battery storage is placed in the design, the diagram also includes the BESS and PCS clusters with their MW and MWh totals.
Tips & Recommendations
- If the drawn string count would not match the design, PVX.AI aborts without touching any existing SLD tab. Fix the design, then regenerate.
- Use Aggregated for issue sheets and Full Detail when you need to check every device.
