Overview
If something goes wrong in PVX.AI, report it from inside AutoCAD. Submit Bug opens a short form, attaches your log files and, if you want, a screenshot, and creates a support ticket for you.
Prerequisites
An active PVX.AI license and an internet connection. Report the problem on the same day it happened, so the attached logs still contain it.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the form
Click Submit Bug on the Configurations panel. The Report a Bug form opens.
2. Describe the problem
Under Describe the problem, write what happened, what you expected instead, and the steps to reproduce it. The steps matter most: list them in order, with the tool and settings you used.
3. Check the attachments
Today’s and yesterday’s log files are attached automatically. Include a screenshot of all monitors is on by default; the form hides itself while the screenshot is taken. Turn it off if your screens show anything you would rather not send.
4. Submit
Click Submit. When Bug report submitted. Thank you! appears, close the form. If it says the report failed, check your internet connection and submit again.
5. Follow up
The report becomes a ticket on the PVX.AI helpdesk at support.pvx.ai, using the email address of your license. Replies come by email. Sign in at support.pvx.ai to check the ticket or add something you forgot.
Tips & Recommendations
- Leave the screenshot on when the problem is visible, such as geometry drawn in the wrong place or a dialog that looks wrong.
- Mention the drawing’s units (metres or feet) and your AutoCAD version when the problem involves sizes or positions.
- If you can share the drawing, say so in the description. The support team will tell you how to send it.
- You can also email support@pvx.ai. A ticket is created the same way, but you need to attach your logs yourself (they are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PVXAI\logs).
