Overview
If something goes wrong in PVX.AI, you can report it without leaving AutoCAD. The Submit Bug form attaches the information the support team needs automatically.
Prerequisites
An active PVX.AI license. Report the issue in the same session it happened, so today’s log files carry the relevant entries.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the form
On the Configurations panel of the PVX.AI ribbon, click Submit Bug to open the Report a Bug form.
2. Describe the issue
Write what happened, what you expected instead, and the steps to reproduce it. The steps are the most useful part of the report, so list them in order.
3. Check the attachments
Today’s log files are attached automatically. Include a screenshot of all monitors is on by default; turn it off if the screen holds anything you would rather not send.
4. Submit
Click Submit to send the report.
5. Follow it up
Your report becomes a ticket on the PVX.AI Helpdesk at support.pvx.ai, where the support team picks it up. You can sign in there at any time to check its status or add something you forgot. Replies reach you by email, so there is nothing to keep watching.
Tips & Recommendations
- Press F1 in any PVX.AI window, or while the PVX.AI ribbon has focus, to open the online help instead of AutoCAD’s built-in help.
- Prefer to write in your own words? Email support@pvx.ai and a ticket is created the same way, though you will need to attach your logs yourself.
- Leave the screenshot on when the issue is visual, such as misdrawn geometry or a dialog that renders incorrectly.
