Overview
Swap Rack replaces already-placed racks with a different rack type without redoing the layout, and Mirror Tracker flips placed tracker tables end to end. This guide covers both tools.
Prerequisites
Racks already placed in the drawing, and the replacement rack type available in your catalog.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open Swap Rack
On the Layout panel, open the Tools dropdown and click Swap Rack. The racks you selected appear in the window under Selected Racks.
2. Choose the replacement
Pick the new rack under Target Rack and confirm. PVX.AI swaps each rack in place, keeps the labels correct, and reports any racks that could not be swapped.
3. Mirror a tracker
From the same Tools dropdown, click Mirror Tracker to mirror placed tracker tables end to end. The mirrored table is a real, fully functional rack whose stringing, piles and exports all follow the mirrored geometry.
Tips & Recommendations
- Check the report for racks that could not be swapped before you move on to stringing.
- Run Adapt Objects afterwards if you want the swapped racks re-fitted to the current terrain.
