Overview
In PVX.AI, you can move racks to different locations, copy them, and adapt them to the terrain at their new positions. This is useful for fine-tuning layout plans after the initial generation.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the move tool
Click Move and Adapt.
2. Select and move racks
Select the racks you want to move, then right-click or press Enter. Click the new location to drop them. Racks are automatically adapted to the terrain at their new position.
3. Copy racks
Use AutoCAD’s standard copy commands to duplicate racks. Paste the copy at the desired location.
4. Adapt copied racks
Select the copied racks with Move and Adapt and release them in place. PVX.AI will automatically adapt them to the surface model.

- Copy different rack types to use multiple configurations within the same site.
- Move and Adapt automatically updates rack tilt angles based on the new location’s terrain.
