Overview
In PVX.AI, you can create custom stringing connections between two different racks using Line String or Leapfrog methods. This is useful when standard methods do not meet specific wiring requirements.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Switch to the Custom tab
In the Manual Design window, click the Custom tab.
2. Select the racks
Choose the two racks that need to be connected.
3. Define connection points
Select the positive (+) connection point, then the negative (-) connection point. Right-click or press Enter to confirm.
4. Choose the method and apply
Line String creates a direct connection between two racks. Leapfrog creates a cross-over connection. In both methods, you manually select the start and end points of the positive and negative circuits.

- Custom stringing is particularly useful for connecting racks of different sizes.
- When selecting connection points, aim for the shortest cable route.
- Run cable loss analysis after custom stringing to verify the design.
