Overview
PVX.AI also supports full customization of single-axis tracker designs. In Detailed Design mode, you can individually set pile distances, motor positions, and all structural parameters.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the tracker design window
Click Create Tracker and switch pile distance to Manual.
2. Define tracker dimensions
Enter the panel size (e.g., 1×52) and the number of piles (e.g., 11).
3. Customize pile distances
Enter the distance between each pile pair individually. For example, piles 1-2 at 5.7 m, piles 3-4 at 5.9 m.
4. Set margins and depth
Margin Top defines the distance between the first pile and the panel edge; Margin Bottom defines the last pile margin. Also set pile depth and motor position.
5. Save the design
Name the tracker and click Save to store it in the database.
Tips & Recommendations
- Tracker pile distances should be optimized for wind load conditions.
- The motor is typically placed at the center of the tracker but can be adjusted per structural requirements.
- Cross-check the detailed design against manufacturer mounting schematics.
