Overview
PVX.AI is licensed per machine, by email. There is no product key to type in. This guide covers first-run activation and where to check your license status.
Prerequisites
PVX.AI must be installed on your computer, you need an internet connection, and your account must have credits.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the Welcome to PVX window
Start AutoCAD. The first time you run PVX.AI, the Welcome to PVX window appears.
2. Enter your email
Type the email address for your account and click Continue.
3. Complete activation
What happens next depends on your account:
- New account or free trial (no machine bound yet): PVX.AI signs you in automatically and seeds your trial credits, showing Trial started and the number of credits added.
- Existing account on a new machine: PVX.AI shows Check your email and sends you a sign-in link. Open it from any device, phone or laptop, to activate this machine. PVX.AI finishes as soon as you do.
4. Check your license status
Open Configurations > Settings > License. It shows the signed-in account, your Machine ID, the last validation time, the expiry date and your entitlements. Click Validate Now to force an immediate online re-check.
Tips & Recommendations
- Activation binds to your computer through a hardware-anchored Machine ID, so each machine is activated separately.
- Use Validate Now after a plan change or renewal so new entitlements apply straight away.
- PVX.AI revalidates online at startup, so keep an internet connection available.
- Manage your account, licensing, credits and updates at id.pvx.ai.
