Overview
You can export 3D rack layouts from PVX.AI in PVCollada format for direct use in PVsyst. 3D positions, tilt angles, and all structural information are preserved in the export.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Go to the Export section
Click Export on the PVX.AI ribbon.
2. Click the PVsyst export button
Use the PVsyst button to export all 3D racks in PVCollada format.
3. Save the file
Name the PVCollada file and save. All rack positions and structural data are included.
Tips & Recommendations
- PVCollada format distinguishes between fixed racks and trackers automatically.
- Tracker systems are exported as horizontal tables; adjustments may be needed in PVsyst.
- Export this file together with the terrain data (XYZ) for a complete PVsyst import.
