The Soil Compaction feature in PVX.AI analyzes the surface hardness of your terrain. This information plays a critical role in evaluating ground conditions during the proposal and excavation planning stages.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the soil analysis tool
Click Soil Compaction in the Leveling menu.
2. Select the parcel boundary
Select the parcel boundary for analysis. PVX.AI will generate a surface hardness map based on the 3D surface model.
3. Evaluate the results
The analysis produces a surface hardness map showing soil types (soft soil, medium-hard soil, hard ground) and their percentage distribution. Use this data for pile design and earthwork planning.

- Areas with a high percentage of soft soil may require longer or different types of piles.
- Soil hardness analysis should be evaluated alongside geotechnical reports.
