Overview
PVX.AI lets you quickly design single-axis tracker systems. In Simple Design mode, pile distances are calculated automatically at equal intervals. Single-row, multi-row, and terrain-following tracker types are supported.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the tracker design window
Click Create Tracker.
2. Select the tracker type
Choose from three options: Single Row, Multi-Row, or Terrain Following.
3. Set panel and tracker parameters
Define the module orientation (portrait/landscape), maximum rotation angle, and panel count. PVX.AI will automatically calculate the required number of piles and equal pile spacing.
4. Adjust height and additional settings
Set the panel height above ground at 0 degrees (e.g., 1 m), left/right box profile extensions, inter-table gap width, and pile depth.
5. Save the design
Click Save to store the tracker design in the database.
Tips & Recommendations
- Simple Design is a fast and efficient solution for standard tracker systems.
- The Terrain Following option works better on uneven terrain.
- Set the inter-table gap based on maintenance access requirements.
